Intrex Aerospace provides integrated manufacturing services to companies throughout the aviation and defense industries. We’re a precision machine shop with both ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100 certification. We are also ITAR registered for work on defense projects and USML-controlled components.
Intrex can provide horizontal and vertical CNC milling for parts up 25” x 25” x 25” and CNC turning for parts up to 10” x 40”. We have precision machining equipment with up to 5-axis capabilities and are experienced at producing complex components and thin-walled parts. In addition to our standard aerospace manufacturing services, we can also provide advanced engineering support, manage finishing processes, such as chemical film treatment, powder coating, anodizing and assemble or kit components. By consolidating these services, we can save our customers time and money managing their parts program while ensuring superior quality throughout every step of production.
Intrex utilizes an Epicor ERP/MRP system to manage our aerospace manufacturing services. Our flexible Epicor system can provide capabilities that utilize and manage kanban, dock-to-sock and JIT production. This system also allows us to receive orders through an EDI and forecast production on LTAs, which results in reduced lead times for our all of customers and helps us maintain an on-time deliver rate of between 95 and 100 percent. We have invested in an additional IQS software package for this system which allows us to track metrics such as PPM and SPCs to provide additional quality assurance for customers.
